    Business Intelligence Analyst | Shipping Industry

    • This role sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, and commercial operations, helping the organization maximize vessel utilization, optimize cargo allocations, and strengthen revenue performance through data-driven insights.

    The successful candidate will play a key role in:

    • Voyage allocation and cargo mix optimization
    • Revenue and financial performance analysis
    • Volume forecasting and commercial reporting
    • Market intelligence and competitor analysis
    • CRM opportunity analysis and sales steering
    • Equipment planning and capacity optimization
    • Location: Mombasa, Kenya
    • Salary: KES 250,000 Gross

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Maritime Studies
    • 5+ years experience in shipping commercial operations, revenue management, or capacity planning
    • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities
    • Experience with CRM systems and shipping line systems (FIS, COMPASS or similar)
    • Strong understanding of trade lanes and allocation control
