Carpenter at Adept Systems

We are seeking a Carpenter to execute precise woodworking and joinery tasks, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across all carpentry projects. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, preparing cutting files, assembling and installing interior fit-outs, and maintaining carpentry tools and machines. You will play a key role in delivering customized carpentry solutions that meet project and client specifications, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities 

• Interpret drawings and blueprints to execute precise carpentry tasks such as furniture joineries, door frameworks, and other wood structures.
• Create and prepare cutting files for various woodworking projects.
• Maintain and operate a wide range of carpentry machines and tools efficiently.
• Assemble, install, and apply finishes to customized interior fit-outs according to project or client requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections and checks to identify repair and maintenance needs for carpentry works.
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all carpentry projects and assignments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper functionality in carpentry installations and maintenance tasks.
• Perform any other relevant duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor or management from time to time.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Carpentry, Wood Technology, or a related technical field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on carpentry experience, including joinery, furniture making, and interior fit-outs.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and cutting files.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry machines, tools, wood types, and finishing methods.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and workplace standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
