Carpenter / Joiner at Nexus Staffing Solutions

Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Joiner to join their team in Naromoru. The role involves undertaking various carpentry and joinery tasks including furniture work, fittings, repairs, and installation of wooden structures.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on carpentry experience, strong finishing skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry and joinery work including furniture making, fittings, and installations.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and related materials.
• Install doors, cabinets, shelves, and other wooden structures.
• Repair and maintain wooden structures and fixtures.
• Read and interpret basic carpentry drawings and measurements.
• Ensure high-quality finishing and workmanship.
• Maintain tools and ensure safety standards are followed.

Minimum Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Carpentry, Joinery, or Building Technology from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years’ practical experience in carpentry or joinery work.
• Experience in furniture making, cabinetry, or construction carpentry is an added advantage.
• Strong practical and finishing skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
