Chief Commercial Officer at Leap29

With a team of highly motivated and trained professionals my client provides both investment advisory and direct investments in fragile and frontiers markets. The direct investment team are looking to strategically hire a Chief Commercial Officer based in their Nairobi office with a core focus of transacting in C&I Solar.

Roles and responsibilities included but are not limited to;

• Originating and developing C&I Solar transactions (15-25 year contracts)
• Execution of DD on proposed deals
• Grow, develop and train a team in order to ensure the mandate is satisfied
• Develop pipeline of projects across sub-Saharan Africa
• Actively engage with other teams and offer support including engineering, finance & operations
• Provide strategic advice to leadership team

Key Requirements;

• 10+ years professional experience
• Proven business development in sub-Saharan Africa (preference energy space)
• Experience in emerging / frontier markets
• Experience delivering and selling PPP
• Proficient understanding of C&I Solar
