What you will deliver

• Profitable growth. Execute a strategy aimed at significant revenue growth within two years, strengthening profitability while also reclaiming and growing market share.
• New business and strategic partnerships. Win major clients, deepen executive relationships, negotiate alliances that generate revenue and expand our presence across Eastern Africa.
• New revenue streams. Commercialise technology-enabled services, data processing and corporate services as well as opening new markets and customer segments.
• Better performance and client value. Spearhead technology innovations to improve productivity and customer experience.
• Strong stewardship. Safeguard financial discipline, governance, regulatory compliance, cyber security and business continuity while pursuing growth.

What you will bring

• A record of commercial delivery. Demonstrable success growing revenue, winning significant business, building strategic partnerships and negotiating complex deals.
• Networks that create value. Strong relationship-building skills and executive credibility with corporate leaders, boards, financial institutions, regulators and strategic partners.
• Executive leadership experience. At least 10 years in senior leadership, including at least 6 years in executive leadership, with experience reporting to a Board plus strong financial management capability.
• Relevant sector exposure. Experience in highly regulated, technology-enabled organisations, with exposure to financial services, capital markets, corporate services or adjacent sectors.
• Qualifications. A master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics or a related discipline, plus a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline. Relevant professional qualifications and corporate governance certification are desirable.
• Drive and judgement. Commercial acumen, initiative, resilience and the courage to execute, matched by integrity, emotional intelligence and the ability to inspire performance while leading change.
