DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPEDIC TECHNOLOGISTS

Requirements for Appointment

• Served for at least three (3) years of service in the grade of Deputy Chief Orthopedic Technologist.
• Diploma in Orthopedic Technology or Advanced Diploma in Orthopedic Technology or Degree in Prosthetics/Orthotics;
• Possess wide experiences and have demonstrated outstanding administrative capabilities and technical competence in organizing work at the level of Deputy Chief Orthopedic Technologist; andiv. Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of orthopedic supportive services at national and provincial hospitals;
• Planning and organizing orthopedic supportive services; and
• Head of faculty of orthopedic technology in a college of health professionals where he will be responsible for planning, curriculum development, implementation and evaluation of training programmes.
