Job Requirements

• Be in possession of a Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
• Be registered by Engineer`s Registration Board of Kenya as a Graduate Engineer.
• 3 Years Post-graduation Experience in an Engineering field
• Proficiency in the relevant computer applications is a must.
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Job Description

• Preparation of investment programs for the Nairobi City County Road networks,
• Carrying out traffic surveys and management of traffic data,
• Collecting and collating economic, environmental and social data for road investment programmes and strategies;
• Preparation of Civil and Structural Engineering Designs of road works and structures;
• Preparation, reviewing of tender documentation for road works, structures and work plans;
• Preparing records for road assets database;
• Preparation of short, medium- and long-term road works programmes;
•  Preparation of procurement plans for road works and structures,
• Assisting in supervision of contracts as well as undertaking road safety audits during road development.
• Undertaking public sensitization on protection of road reserves, implementation of road asset Management policies and undertaking annual road inventory and condition surveys;
• Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned from time to time.
