Job Summary:

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and overall hygiene standards of our prestigious restaurant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant environment meets the highest standards of cleanliness, contributing to the exceptional dining experience our guests expect.

Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of dining areas, bar, restrooms, kitchen, and other designated areas.
• Ensure all surfaces are properly cleaned and sanitized to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment with care and according to safety guidelines.

Table and Seating Setup:

• Set up and arrange tables, chairs, and other furniture in dining areas according to the restaurant's layout and standards.
• Assist in preparing the restaurant for service by ensuring tables are properly set with clean utensils, glassware, and tableware.

Waste Management:

• Regularly empty trash bins, dispose of waste, and replace trash bags as needed.
• Separate recyclable materials from general waste and follow eco-friendly waste management practices.

Restroom Maintenance:

• Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms by cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, mirrors, countertops, and floors.
• Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed.

Floor Care:

• Sweep, mop, and polish floors to ensure they are clean and presentable at all times.
• Respond promptly to any spills or accidents to prevent slips and falls.
• Window and Glass Cleaning
• Clean and polish windows, glass partitions, and mirrors throughout the restaurant to provide a clear and appealing view for guests.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain a seamless and coordinated restaurant environment.
• Communicate effectively with the team and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to management.

Qualification & Experience
Education

• Any certification

Experience

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning, preferably in a fine dining restaurant or hospitality setting.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Knowledge of proper handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderately heavy items.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
