Clinical Instructor at Outspan Medical College

Key Duties And Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with students and manage all communication with the same and provide optimal level of training in the clinical placement sites.
• Assist academic staff to analyze student requirements and ensure appropriate resources in the facility for the same and assist in skills lab activities.
• Prepare student practical assessments and ensure compliance to all academic course programs and evaluate performance of all trainees in clinical training.
• Develop and maintain good professional relations with employees of the clinical placement site and participate in all practical academic processes.
• Arrange the skills lab apparatus and models in an orderly manner for smooth processes during the practical sessions.
• Assist in invigilation of practical assessments to enhance integrity and quality in the examination process.
• Promote a conducive and safe learning environment in the clinical placement sites to ensure conformity with the stipulated occupational, health and safety standards guidelines.
• Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Nursing
• Hold a valid practicing license
• Must have at least eight years’ experience in a level five hospital and interested in academic field
• Effective presentation and demonstration skills, both theoretical and practical
• Current knowledge of the specialized discipline, trends and issues
• Strong interpersonal skills, innovative, team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be 38 years and above
