VACANCY FOR POSITION OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR

The objective of the job is:

• To build capacities of target communities to utilize the available resources for improved food security, nutrition and income.

Key Requirements and Experience

• Diploma in Sustainable Agriculture, or Agriculture Extension with 2 years of working with communities in agriculture or Certificate in Sustainable Agriculture or Agriculture and Extension with 3 years or more experience in agriculture community related projects. Passionate and committed to empowering marginalized individuals and communities so that they can achieve decent livelihoods from available resources.
• Ability and experience in teaching/facilitation;
• Experience of working in a structured organization;
• Experience in participatory management and program approaches
• Conflict management skills;
• Good analytical, writing, reporting and presentation skills;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Must be computer literate, conversant with operating software applications; and
• Experience with donor community will be an added advantage.
