Construction Accountant at Vaal Real Estate

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Accountant at VAAL Real Estate Kenya located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Construction Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting for construction projects. They will collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Business Administration/Commerce/Banking/Economics/Finance or its equivalent from a reputable institution
• Professional qualification in Accounting (CPA-K/ACCA finalist)
• Knowledge & Experience in Accounting software e.g., Quick books, Sage, PASTEL, etc.
• At least 3 years’ Experience in Accounting
• Hands on experience with any ERP Software.
• Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures.
• Great interpersonal skills and communication skills.
• Knowledge & Experience about the real estate industry will be an added advantage
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
