Job Specifications

Duties and responsibilities at this level entail:

• Implementing communications, customer and branding strategies to support the Agency’s objectives;
• Supporting activities to enhance the corporate image of the Agency;
• Monitoring internal and external media communication functions;
• Assisting in protocol management;
• Organizing Agency’s planned events and functions;
• Providing content in the development of Communication materials;
• Supporting implementation of the Agency Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and preparing reports;
• Responding to customer enquiries
• Receiving, analysing and sharing customer feedback;
• Manning information desk services at public awareness programmes and outreach forums.

Person Specifications

For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:

• Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: -Public Relations, Corporate Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
• Membership to the Public Relation Society of Kenya (PRSK) or Media Council of Kenya (MCK) or any other relevant professional body and in good standing;and
• Proficiency in computer applications.
