Counsel Litigation - 6 Posts

- Experience 3 years
- Location Nairobi
- Job Field Legal and Regulatory
Job Requirement
- Must be an Advocate of High Court of Kenya with at least three (3) years post admission experience.
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- Post-graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Government.
- Demonstrated professional competence in work performance and results.
- Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
- Holds a valid practicing certificate.
Job Description
- Preparing and instituting matters in court on behalf of the County
- Offering legal advice on legal matters affecting the County.
- Preparing affidavits and counter affidavits in civil proceedings by or against the county or in proceedings where the County has interest.
- Attending court to protect the County’s interests in matters filed against the County.
- Preparation of legal briefs, opinions and legal instruments.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
