    The ideal candidate is expected to provide strategic direction to the sales & marketing team in Kenya to ensure delivery of broad business objectives. S/He will be responsible for implementing an effective brand strategy & ensuring consistency across all platforms of creative expression in Kenya.

    Job Description

    1.  Manage every aspect of our newly expanding operation in-country.
    2. Recruit top talents in this new market
    3. Negotiate with vendors and service providers needed for production.
    4. Collaborate with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services.
    5. Conduct extensive research regarding the market and learn everything possible.
    6. Develop marketing and production teams with local expertise.
    7. Collaborate with leadership to strategize how best to roll out the product line.
    8. Become a student of the culture, remaining aware of customs and manners always
    9. Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development.
    10. Network effectively with local clients and develop strong professional relationships.
    11. Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
    12. Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity
    13. Mentor direct reports, especially in regard to our values and vision
    14. Contribute to the overall global success of our company


    1. First degree in Business Development or Business Administration & a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
    2. The Institute of Sales & Marketing Management (ISMM).
    3. 8-10years' of field sales & marketing experience (Industry experience will be preferred).
    4. Countrywide territorial knowledge and high-level commercial awareness; sound understanding of market penetration principles.
    5. Advanced analytical, interpersonal and people management (coaching) skills.
    6. Sales strategy mapping, presentation & acute negotiation skills.
    7. In-depth understanding of supply chain processes and how it impacts on product availability and distribution within the country.
