    County Executive Committee Member- Culture, Social Services, Gender, Sports & Youth Affairs

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement county legislation
    • Implement within the county, national legislation to the extent that the legislation so requires
    • Manage and coordinate the functions of the county administration and its department
    • Prepare legislative proposals for consideration by the county assembly
    • Provide county assembly with full and regular reports on matters relating to the county
    • Supervise the administration and delivery of services in the county and all decentralized units and agencies in the county
    • Perform any other functions conferred on it by the constitution or national legislation
    • Carry out any function incidental tom any of the assigned functions by the governor.

    Requirements

    • Be a Kenyan Citizen.
    • Be in possession of a relevant degree from a University recognized in Kenya.
    • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010
    • iHave knowledge, experience and distinguished career of NOT less than five (5) years in the field relevant to the portfolio applied for.
    • Understand the diversity, challenges and opportunities within the County.
    • Be conversant with the Constitution of Kenya and all other relevant laws.
    • Be a visionary and strategic thinker

    Terms of Service: Contract

    Remuneration: As per Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) guidelines
