Credit Controller at Adept Systems

The Credit Controller will be responsible for implementing the company’s credit control policy and ensuring seamless collections across all client accounts. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the role requires proactive management of receivables, maintaining healthy cash flow, and fostering strong client relationships. The position involves regular travel within Kenya to engage with clients and support effective debt recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce the organization’s credit control policies and procedures.
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
• Conduct regular client visits across Kenya to strengthen relationships and resolve payment issues.
• Prepare and present accurate reports on debtors’ status to the Finance Manager.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align credit control with overall financial objectives.
• Negotiate repayment plans and manage disputes with professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant financial regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or financial management.
• Proven ability to cultivate professional relationships with vendors and customers.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
