    Database and Integration Manager - Expeditions

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Database and Integration Manager to oversee, maintain, and optimize our database systems and ensure seamless integration between our internal systems and third-party / supplier systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with DMC booking platforms (e.g., Tourplan, Travel Studio, GranIT or similar), have an in-depth understanding of supplier contracts, pricing structures, and product data to ensure accurate and efficient data handling. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our booking system and supporting seamless operations across all departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and maintain product and supplier databases within the DMC booking platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
    • Oversee the integration of supplier data and third-party systems (e.g., CRS, GDS, API connections) to ensure seamless data flow and communication.
    • Coordinate with IT teams and suppliers to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between internal systems and external platforms.
    • Interpret and input supplier contracts, including rate, allocations, and specials into the system in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with the contracting team to ensure timely updates and renewals of supplier agreements.
    • Ensure consistency, integrity, and standardization of data across all platforms.
    • Support the reservations and sales teams with accurate product information and pricing.
    • Generate and maintain reports to track data health, contract expiries, and product performance.
    • Provide training and support to internal teams on database usage and system

    Requirements:

    • Five (5) years or more proven experience in database management or product loading role within a DMC or tour operator.
    • Extensive experience with DMC platforms (e.g., Tourplan, GranIT, Travel Studio, or similar).
    • Strong understanding of supplier contracts, pricing models, and operational processes in travel.
    • Hands-on experience with system integrations, including API integrations, XML, and connecting third-party systems to internal booking platforms.
    • Familiarity with common travel technology tools such as CRS, GDS, channel managers, and other integration platforms.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system integration issues.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially excel.
    • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
