Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to the grade of Deputy Chief Economist, an officer must have :-
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field is typically required. Served in the field of economics, policy research and statistics in the public or private sector; for at least ten (10) years;
- Demonstrated outstanding professional competence, ability and integrity as reflected in work performance and results;
- Managerial experience necessary for the effective management of staff;
