Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizing stakeholders for curriculum design;
• Development, implementation, examination and certification in conjunction with relevant bodies;
• Organizing stakeholders’ forum for collaborations;
• Linkage and partnerships;
• Development memorandum of understanding and agreements with other stake holders;
• Undertaking research in vocational skills training;
• Monitoring and evaluating development partners’ projects;
• Creating linkages with the industry to promote apprenticeship and internship in vocational training;
• Coordinating vocational training Centers;
• Participating in exhibition and trade fairs.

Requirements for Appointment

• Be a Kenyan citizen;
• Bachelor’s degree in either Education OR Education Technology from recognized institutions in Kenya;
• At least seven (7) years of Public or Private sector experience in similar role from a reputable organization;
• Computer literacy;
• Certificate in Senior Management Course from recognized institution in Kenya is an added advantage
• Knowledge of education standards;
• Leadership skills;
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the constitution on Leadership and Integrity.
