    Development Officer Grade 11

    Key Responsibilities

    The officer will work under the guidance of the Director to:

    • Develop and implement fundraising strategies and annual development plans
    • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with donors, sponsors, alumni, and partners
    • Prepare funding proposals, grant applications, and donor reports.
    • Coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and alumni engagement initiatives
    • Maintain accurate donor records and databases.
    • Coordinate the legal registration, statutory compliance, and regulatory filings of the
    • Foundation, working with the legal office and relevant authorities as required
    • Support communication and marketing efforts related to fundraising activities
    • Monitor fundraising performance and prepare periodic reports
    • Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the Foundation

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Master’s Degree in Social Sciences from a recognized institution of higher learning.
    • At least five (5) years of working experience in fundraising, development work, partnerships, or resource mobilization.
    • Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet targets
    • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
