Reporting into the Planning and Logistics Director you will be responsible for Africa logistics. You will be responsible for covering all customs operations, excise execution, transportation and warehousing for materials and finished goods.
You’ll leading safety, controls, logistics cost, service (OTIF/ CFR) and customer collaboration (eg. service as measured by customer, Advantage Survey).
Leading all interaction with 3PL's, driving joint business plans and unlocking value.
About You
To be successful in role you will have hands on logistics experience, experience running a warehouse, transportation and/or customer service operations exposure.
You’ll have a track record of having run loss analysis and delivered major savings.
Working cross functionally you will have experience partnering with internal teams, such as procurement, planning and manufacturing.
You will have the ability to demonstrate successful influencing skills at a senior level and the ability to demonstrate success in Supply Chain functional and/or business integration roles.
It is essential that you have excellent experience in stakeholder management, and you will have proven experience managing teams of a cross functional nature and provide clear direction, support and resolution.
