    • Leadership of Outreach Medical Centers: Provide overall leadership for outreach medical centers by working with managers and clinics to establish appropriate professional practice structures, monitoring indicators, and governance mechanisms that ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency of services across all outreach sites.
    • Operations, Staffing, and Infrastructure Management: Ensure outreach medical centers are adequately staffed and equipped by overseeing staffing structures, operational indicators, and the functionality and maintenance of medical and other equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery.
    • Performance and Talent Management: Drive performance management processes by setting operational targets, conducting staff performance appraisals, identifying training and development needs, and building cohesive, high-performing teams aligned to institutional goals, while working to maintain or surpass EBITDA targets.
    • Networking, Marketing, and Partnerships: Participate in joint AKHS/AKUHN coordination forums, develop and maintain referral networks for outreach centers, and oversee the implementation of marketing activities to enhance visibility, patient volumes, and coordination of care across outreach sites.
    • Financial and Resource Management: Lead the development and management of outreach operational and capital budgets, monitor manpower, FTEs, expenditures, and utilization indicators, and ensure outreach medical centers operate on a financially self-sustaining basis that covers operating costs and generates surplus for reinvestment into hospital and regional programs.
    • Clinical Integration and Decision Support: Work closely with hospital management and medical leadership to reduce costs, enhance revenues, improve utilization, and achieve quality goals by analyzing operational and financial data to inform evidence-based management decisions.
    • Professional, Client-Centered Work Environment: Promote a professional, client-centered, team-based learning environment by participating in corporate service teams and committees, contributing to organizational renewal initiatives, and maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all communications.
    • Executive Decision-Making and Performance Oversight: Make and lead key strategic and operational decisions including selection of satellite clinic sites, optimization of staffing structures and operating hours, and continuous improvement of quality measures. Oversee and monitor core performance dimensions such as service volumes, capital and operating expenditure, revenue performance, turnaround times, quality indicators, patient feedback, and staff turnover to ensure sustainable, high-quality outreach operations.
    • Operating in a competitive and resource-constrained environment: Balancing market competition, ageing equipment, and pricing pressures while maintaining quality and safety.
