Dispatch & Fulfillment Executive at Bridge Talent Management

Job Description

• Our client, a well-established distributor and retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances with a strong regional presence, is looking for a Fulfillment Officer to join their warehouse team in Ruiru.
• This role is critical in ensuring the accurate, efficient, and timely fulfillment of customer orders across both retail and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, a hands-on approach to process improvement, and the ability to lead high-performing warehouse teams.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Operations Management

• Oversee daily outbound processes: order waving, picking, staging, loading, and dispatch.
• Ensure daily targets are met in line with SLAs and customer expectations.

 Order Waving & Picking

• Plan order processing based on delivery schedules and resource availability.
• Generate work orders and supervise picking activities, resolving stock or system discrepancies.
• Monitor and analyze picking data for continuous improvement.

Staging & Dispatch Preparation

• Organize staging areas and verify order accuracy before loading.
• Maintain logical order flow and space utilization.

Loading & Dispatch Execution

• Supervise safe, accurate loading of goods.
• Confirm dispatch readiness through documentation and manifest checks.
• Ensure timely departure and handle dispatch-related queries.

Team Supervision & Development

• Lead outbound supervisors, pickers, and loaders.
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.

Performance & Process Optimization

• Track KPIs such as OTIF, order accuracy, and dispatch timelines.
• Recommend improvements to boost fulfillment efficiency.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Enforce warehouse safety standards and adherence to internal policies.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in warehouse order fulfillment operations.
• Strong working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
