Stores Assistant (Eldoret) at Sheer Logic

Role Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stores Assistant to ensure the proper storage of products, maintain accurate accounts of all inventory, and monitor product status. In this role, you will act as a key bridge between production and distribution, ensuring seamless product flow and rigorous stock accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Product Availability & Distribution Coordination: Coordinate product availability, communicate requirements and demand information to distribution and production teams, and send daily stock movement reports.
• Inventory Control & Record Management: Conduct daily stock counts, ensure prompt posting of available products, track product quantities and expiry dates, and manage market return records.
• Warehousing Operations: Maintain accurate warehouse records and submit daily stock reports on time, ensuring FIFO standards and proper warehouse arrangement (PEEP) for optimal stock visibility.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, oversee smooth loading and offloading operations, maintain proper grooming and uniform standards for loaders, and participate in hazard spotting and continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Procurement, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and computer proficiency.
