Dispatcher at Human Capital Synergies Africa Ltd

Our client, an on-demand Courier Service that delivers products ordered through their mobile app seeks to recruit a Dispatcher, who SHOULD BE  fluent in French (Oral and Written). He/she will be responsible for responding to the company's emergency or non-emergency calls for help and information.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receiving emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant information
2. Addressing problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
3. Receiving and dispatching orders for products or deliveries
4. Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
5. Use phone or computer to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations
6. Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
7. Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
8. Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information

Requirements

1. MUST BE Fluent in French; Oral and Written
2. Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
3. Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods
4. Fast typing with experience in data entry
5. Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
6. Proficient in English (oral and written)
7. Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
8. Active listener with excellent communication skills
9. Sound judgment and critical thinking
10. High school diploma
