P.C. Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute started in 1979 as a Technical Secondary School with a population of 160 students. The vision to establish the Technical School was borne by His Excellency, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the First President of the Republic of Kenya. The elders donated pieces of land that were consolidated in 1958 as trust land and reserved for future development of Kinyanjui Memorial High School in honour of the late Paramount Chief Kinyanjui wa Gathirimu who reigned between 1893 âˆ’ 1929 in the region in which we are.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Operating healthy and safety procedure with all institution equipment.
- Ensuring that vehicles are kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Report any necessary maintenance of the vehicles.
- Any other duties assigned by the management.
Minimum Requirements
- Must possess a KSCE certificate.
- Must possess a valid driving license.
- At least three years accident free driving
- Compliance with Chapter Six of the Constitution.
- Experience as a school/college bus driver will be an added advantage.
- 35 years of age and above.
- Key Competencies for the Position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and planning abilities
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
