Electrical Maintenance Technician at Tai Talent Matters

This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can do more than routine electrical maintenance — strong practical experience in industrial automation and PLC troubleshooting is a key requirement.

Key Focus Areas

• Electrical maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting across plant equipment
• PLC, automation and control-system fault-finding
• Maintenance of motors, drives, sensors, panels and production equipment
• Preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability
• Supporting equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning
• Minimising downtime and improving plant efficiency
• Maintaining compliance with safety, GMP and food manufacturing standards

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
• Minimum 5 years electrical maintenance experience in a beverage or manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on experience with PLCs and industrial automation
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and control-system faults independently
• Experience working with automated production or packaging equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with SCADA, CMMS or manufacturing systems is an advantage
