 Key Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and electrical equipment; conduct preventive maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, identifying root causes and implementing repairs promptly.
• Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, outlets, and fixtures as needed. Install new electrical systems, components, and fixtures in line with hotel standards, BS 7671, and IET wiring regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues, minimizing disruptions and hazards.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to local codes and safety standards; identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and installations.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance without disrupting guest experiences.
• Attend to minor service needs for the Solar PV system.
