English & Literature Teacher at Oshwal Academy Mombasa

Job Description

The Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced English Language and Literature Teacher to teach in the Senior School.

Qualifications:

1. A graduate with a Bachelor of Education degree with specialisation in English and Literature.
2. Must be registered with the Teachers Service Commission.

Experience:

1. At least five years’ teaching experience in a reputable institution (Senior School).
2. Knowledge of technical content delivery in a variety of examinable syllabi (Edexcel, Cambridge, I.G.C.S.E. and A’ Level).
3. Good intra and interpersonal skills.
4. Knowledgeable in modern pedagogy and demonstrable teaching practices.
5. Excellent written and oral communication.
6. Innovative and creative individual.
7. Good planning and organisation skills.
8. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
9. Ability and proven willingness to support clubs and other co-curricular activities.
