Finance Officer at Kilimall

Responsibilities

• Record and barcode all assets on the asset register.
• Regularly perform physical asset verification.
• Monitor and review asset allocation.
• Account for assets and establish internal controls.
• Provide regular reports on asset status.
• Manage asset disposal.
• Maintain updated inventory records.
• Conduct physical stock-taking to match system records.
• Create and maintain financial records & reports for inventory.
• Prepare budget forecasts and analyses.
• Resolve inventory variances.
• Process bank and Mpesa payments.
• Perform Mpesa reconciliations.
• Assist in filing returns (VAT, PAYE, Withholding VAT, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA is an added advantage.
• Audit experience is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
