Role Summary

• We are seeking to recruit highly motivated, analytical, and results-driven Fixed Income Traders to join our growing team.
• The successful candidates will be responsible for executing fixed income trades, monitoring market developments, managing client relationships, and supporting the achievement of the firm’s trading and investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders for fixed income securities with precision.
• Oversee trade settlement processes alongside middle and back-office operations teams. 
• Monitor real-time market data& interest rate movements.
• Analyze macroeconomic indicators like inflation data and central bank policy decisions.
• Provide competitive price quotes directly to institutional and retail clients.
• Deliver timely market commentary and actionable investment ideas to accounts.
• Build strong network connections with institutional counterparties and broker-dealers.
• Partner with internal sales teams to win new trading mandates
• Enforce strict compliance policies that match CMA regulation.
• Formulate data-driven trading strategies using technical and fundamental analysis.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in financial markets and trading will be an added advantage.
• Membership in the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (ICIFA) and/or possession of the Authorized Securities Trader (ATS) Certification will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fixed income products, market dynamics, and trading platforms is desirable.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial markets and fixed income instruments.
• Demonstrated sound judgment and decision-making ability.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
