Reporting to: Nairobi Area program coordinator/ Food & Nutrition Pillar Manager
Line Managing: Care group Promoters
Feed the Children in conjunction with County Department of Health Services seeks to implement a project in Nairobi-Viwandani ward- aimed at improving food and nutrition security of pregnant & lactating women as well as women with children less than 5 years.
This will be achieved through promotion of health and nutrition education messages using the Care Group model.
The model represents an effective Behavior Change Communication strategy for promoting equitable beneficiary contact capable of producing measurable changes in health and nutrition indicators.
The Care Group Supervisor will be responsible for training and supervising the Promoter(s) on behavior change by providing Health & Nutrition information & technical support, facilitate and organize participatory learning sessions for Promoters under directions of the Area program coordinator with technical support from Manager in the Food and Nutrition Pillar.
