Forester III - 3 Posts at Migori County Public Service Board

 Duties and Responsibilities 

• Preparing of tree nursery work plans and seed procurement indents; 
• overseeing preparation of nursery soil and pricking out seedlings; 
• maintaining tree nursery register, muster roll and cost allocation records; and 
• Supervising staff working in tree nurseries. 
• Performing any other duty as may be delegate from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment 

  For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: - 

• Be a Kenyan Citizen
• Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) mean grade C (plain) or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; 
• Diploma in Forestry or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
• Certificate in computer application skills.
