Gardener / Farm Worker (Environment, Climate Change & Forestry) at County Government of Kitui

Requirements for Appointment

• Kenyan Citizen;
• At least 18 years of age and above;
• Be in possession of a National Identification Card;
• Minimum of Primary School Certificate;
• Basic knowledge of farm work and crop management;
• Physically fit and willing to perform manual labor;
• Punctual, disciplined, and able to follow instructions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare land for planting including digging, weeding and leveling;
• Assist in planting, watering and harvesting of crops;
• Maintain farm structures, tools and irrigation facilities;
• Control weeds and pests under supervision;
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
