General Manager at Bridge Talent Management

Job Purpose:

To ensure that MCT, EACS, & SOCOPAO, deliver the targeted Budget Results whilst also maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall administrative functions of the Shipping BU.
• Oversee business development activities.
• Monitor shipping services to ensure that they are in line with customer expectations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Determine and meet resource requirements including labor, equipment and investments in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
• Establish and sustain relations with strategic partners including KPA, KRA, other government agencies and customers.
• Plan and oversee the execution of daily operational activities.
• Prepare annual budgets for the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years in a busy Logistics environment.
• Must have led in a senior role or lateral role in the Container Freight Station in the region for a minimum of 5 years.
• Must have a strong business acumen, financial acumen.
• Must have a well-connected network with stakeholders in the CFS, C&F and Shipping industry
• Visionary leadership to support in Decisions on operational matters and Internal staff redeployment.
• Negotiation and conflict management
• Master’s degree in Business
• Knowledge of Logistics-Clearing and Forwarding
