Getonganya Factory Board Members at Migori County Public Service Board

The Role:
The specific duties of a member appointed to the Migori County Sweet Potato Corporation (MCSPC) shall include but not limited to:

• Serve as a member of the board that is committed to the advancement of the entity;
• Provide technical and professional input, advice and guidance to the direction of the factory;
• Participate fully in decision-making activities;
• Raise the profile of Migori Sweet Potato processing in the community and at large;
• Build relationships with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Be a Kenyan citizen;
• Be a holder of at least a diploma from a recognized institution;
• Have at least five (5) years experience in a sweet potato value chain;
• Must have interest in sweet potato value chain;
• Have demonstrated professional competence and managerial capabilities;
• Demonstrate an appreciation of the diversity within the County;
• Be visionary and strategic in approach;
• Be a team player with an ability to network;
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability;
• Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on leadership and integrity.
