    Global Perspective Teacher

    Job Summary

    We are looking for; Physics,Chemistry,Biology,English,Kiswahili,Geography,Mathematics,History,Religion,Global Perspective ,ICT, Music ,Physical Health Education, French and Arts Teachers ,to join our highly performing team of educators for our British International Curriculum School. As a teacher, you will be responsible for cultivating the students’ interest in education and development. Your responsibilities will include grading assignments, evaluating students’ progress, and planning educational activities, and or any other roles as assigned by the School’s management.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Teach and deliver exceptional lessons that align with the British curriculum requirements.
    • Maintain positive, constructive and professional relationships with students, their families and colleagues.
    • Develop and issue academic content that includes schemes of work, lesson plans and assignments and other professional documents that are necessary for effective curriculum delivery.
    • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, is developmentally appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students and maintain an organized and focused learning environment.
    • Infuse joy and passion for learning in lessons so that students are excited and interested in their academic experiences.
    • Be accountable for students’ performance and academic standards at each stage.
    • Integrate interactive technology into lessons to enhance instructional delivery.
    • Set and communicate rigorous and ambitious goals for all students and provide effective feedback for learners’ progress.
    • Provide consistent rewards and/or consequences for student behavior and model expected behaviour at all times for students to emulate.
    • Consistently meet the ambitious goals of a rapidly-growing and organization.
    • Serve as teacher on duty and/or boarding teacher on duty and support other school programs aimed at behavior interventions.
    • Timely capture of students’ data on academic outcomes and articulation of students’ progress to families and other stakeholders when called upon to do so.
    • Serve as a class room teacher when called upon to do so.

    Qualifications

    • Must be registered with TSC
    • A relevant Degree/Diploma in Education for EYFS, KS1 and KS2 teachers.
    • Relevant Degree in Education for KS3 – KS5 teachers.
    • At least 4 year’s teaching experience in an international school.
    • Must be IT savvy.
    • A great communicator. You are able to provide clear and effective written and verbal communication.
    • A team player – you are ready and willing to support colleagues.
    • A problem solver – you are able to identify challenges and make an effort to find appropriate solutions.

    Desired Competencies and Attributes

    • High passion for teaching.
    • Good time management skills with an ability to prioritize work.
    • Must be creative and interesting to learners.
    • Excellent analytical skills and presentation.
    • Willingness to learn and ability to receive feedback.
