Grade 1 Co-Teacher (Learning Support) at Woodland Star International School

The Grade 1 Co Teacher Learning Support will work collaboratively within the Primary Years team to ensure all learners can access, engage with, and excel in the curriculum. This maternity cover role supports Woodland Star’s inclusive education model through co teaching, differentiated instruction, and targeted learner support, fostering inquiry, critical thinking, and conceptual understanding within a nurturing classroom environment.

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or Bachelor of Education with Special Needs certification.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in an inclusive or special education setting.
• Valid TSC registration (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of inclusive education practices, curriculum differentiation, and mastery based learning.
• Ability to co plan, co teach, and co assess effectively within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Clear alignment with Woodland Star’s mission, vision, and core values of Passion, Connectedness, Innovation, Respect, and Environmental Conservation.
