Job Description

• Skilled in both Caucasian and Afro hairstyles for male and female clients.
• Engage with clients to understand their hair care needs, preferences, and desired outcomes.
• Provide professional advice on hair care, styles, and treatments.
• Perform hair cutting and styling services, including trims, layers, and advanced cuts.
• Create hairstyles that range from classic to contemporary, including updos, blowouts, and other styling techniques.
• Apply hair colouring, highlights, and other colour treatments using safe and effective techniques.
• Provide hair treatments, such as conditioning, keratin treatments, and scalp therapies.
• Recommend and sell hair care products suited to clients' needs.
• Stay updated on the latest hair care trends, products, and techniques.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene regulations as per the salon's guidelines.
• Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all clients.
• Handle client complaints or concerns professionally, striving to resolve them efficiently.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with industry trends.
• Attend workshops or courses as required by the salon.

Qualifications

• A certification or diploma in hairdressing from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a hairdresser in a reputable salon.
• Experience with diverse hair types and textures is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in various hair cutting, styling, and coloring techniques.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
