It initially started operations under the names Mwananchi Microlink Ltd which was incorporated on 15th April 2010. On 10th January 2012, it later changed its names to Mwananchi Credit Limited.

Job Summary

Direct Reports: Collections and Recovery Managers
Indirect Reports: Collections and Recovery Officers

Responsibilities
- Reduction in the Non-Performing Loan book as per the set targets.
- Manage the entire products’ portfolio to minimize losses.
- Evaluate the debt collection cycle and track all arrears.
- Timely and effective implementation of the collections matrix
- Prepare reports for all units and follow up to facilitate full repayment.
- Champion the collections policy and prepare requisite reports.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 years’ experience in debt recovery and credit management.
- Certification in Credit Management and Debt recovery.
- Experience in the Microfinance industry preferred.
