    Head of Expert

    In this position you will:

    • To contribute to Haleon Consumer Healthcare’s ambition of becoming one of the most innovative, best performing, and trusted Consumer Healthcare Companies in Sub- Saharan Africa
    • Accountable for expanding expert reach and growing quality expert recommendations, achieving brand recommended most often (BRMO) status, AWR, Rx shares and growing patient purchases through improved recommendation conversion
    • They deliver on their accountability by leading a team of Expert Marketing Manage, SFE and 3rd party Expert Field Force. By focusing on those HCPs that influence the consumer’s purchase along the consumer experience journey. To include Dentists, Hygienists and Pharmacists both in practice and at school. Works with Haleon Medical and Key External Experts to deploy our science and build trust

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Sub-Saharan territories
    • Growing expert reach and quality expert recommendations, achieving ‘brand recommended most often’ (BRMO) status and growing patient purchases through improved recommendation conversion in Sub-Saharan Africa
    • With data and analytics at the core, drive digital transformation and capability building for expert marketing. Step change use of data and analytics to continue optimize ROI
    • Sits on the Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Team. Leads both an expert marketing and the expert selling organization. 2 Direct reports and 3rd party indirect reports. Works cross-functionally to execute Expert programs in Expert channels. Works in partnership with medical teams
    • Subject matter expert in categories Haleon competes to include strong understanding of the science behind the conditions we focus on, the products available to the patient and Haleon’s differentiated science
    • Deep knowledge of HCPs landscape & competition. Engages on those HCPs that influence the consumer’s purchase along the consumer experience journey
    • Works with Medical and Key External Experts to deploy our science and build trust
    • Develops and executes the HCP marketing strategy and all content via a multi-channel marketing to include HHP, digital media platforms, e-webinars, conferences, and manpower solutions. Actively search and explore new channels to extend HCPs reach via remote detailing and other digital channels.
    • Using data & targeting to ensure the right message, delivered at right time to the right HCPs. Develops and executes the HCP Innovation strategy and all content via a multi-channel marketing
    • Drives HCPs segmentations and targeting with usage of IMS and facts and data’s
    • Ensure management of expert A&P spend with maximum accuracy, efficiency, and ROI via monthly & annual forecasting cycles. Leads strategic sampling plan alignment according to global guidance
    • Aligning Expert Teams territory management and efficient Expert Teams resource allocations to optimize Expert Team coverage. Is responsible for Expert Team guidance for detailing call structure, objective settings and managing aligned KPIs for Expert Teams. Leverages Veeva system
    • Coordination with Area/Global Expert teams for relevant assets & sharing key successes/performance
    • Maintain the highest standards of effectiveness within the team. Coach and develop direct reports. Motivate and support the team through appropriate reward and recognition programs. Identifying training and development needs via the regular check-ins. Maintain team discipline. Driving expert capability and understanding across the business, including differentiated development plans for the expert teams
    • Accountable to deliver on their Innovation, Performance and Trust objectives
    • Understands and abides by Haleon policies and procedures, conducts Management Monitoring.
    • Ensure SOPs are clear and followed within the team, including HCP engagement SOPs and CCAT process implementation
    • Embeds the key attributes of the organization – Go Beyond – Digital Transformation (HHP Registrations, e-Consents), Do what Matters Most – Strategic Audiences; Dentist, GP, and Pharmacist, Keep It Human – SalesForce Capability Programs

    Qualifications:

    • 5-7 years + managerial experience in an Expert Commercial role
    • High proficiency in understanding and using condition, product-based science
    • High proficiency in marketing strategy and execution

    Other Job Factors:

    • Proven experience in field force optimization e.g. segmentation, targeting, efficient organization sizing
    • Proven change management experience
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
