Healthcare Financial Services Leader- East Africa at GE Healthcare

Job Description Summary

You will actively support the commercial team by structuring financing solutions for GE Healthcare customers to purchase GE equipment. In addition to putting together financing solutions, you will, in partnership with the Commercial team, spend significant time meeting customers in East Africa (clinics, hospitals etc) to structure deals and help GE secure business.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities

• Structure financing solutions for GE Healthcare customers to purchase GE equipment including owning this process from start to end,
• Partner with the Commercial team to meet customers (clinics, hospitals … etc) to support in deal structuring and help GE secure business.
• Build/maintain a strong network with financial institutions, development fund, export credit agencies, leasing companies … etc.
• Assist originators in the preparation of customer proposals.
• Participate and/or contribute in deal approval process
• Manage deals and pipeline in salesforce.com and communicate progress & status regularly to various stakeholders.
• Participate on various calls internal & external
• Help assess 3rd party financing options in INTL markets, work with GE Industrial businesses to prepare collateral info needed to establish programs, and work with Capital Markets to implement and manage programs.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in structuring financing solutions
• Strong experience in negotiating deals with customers
• Strong in experience in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
• Knowledge of the Eastern African Financial Market
• Experience in Sales and/or Risk
• Team player with proven ability to execute in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to build trust
• Excellent business writing and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
