House Keeping Supervisor at Eagle HR Consultants

Job Requirements:

Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years working experience as a Housekeeper or similar role;

• Be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Housekeeping, Laundry and Front Office Management, Hospitality Management with housekeeping specialization or any other relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
• Be a person of excellent organizational and team management skills
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations
• Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products
• Have the Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job and flexibility to work in shifts
• Be computer literate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Training housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
• Overseeing staff on a daily basis
• Checking rooms and common areas, including lecture halls, offices, hostels, ablution blocks, library and any other areas, for cleanliness
• Scheduling shifts and arranging for replacements in cases of absence
• Establishing and educating staff on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene standards
• Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job
• Respond to customer complaints and special requests
• Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock; and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas
