    HR Assistant

    Position Overview

    • The HR Officer – Performance Management will play a pivotal role in developing, coordinating, and implementing performance appraisal systems that drive employee productivity and engagement. This role ensures continuous alignment between individual performance and company objectives while upholding labor compliance standards in Kenya.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement performance management frameworks and tools.
    • Coordinate quarterly and annual staff performance evaluations.
    • Provide guidance to department heads on goal setting, KPIs, and appraisal methods.
    • Analyze performance data and prepare reports for HR and management review.
    • Recommend strategies for performance improvement and career development.
    • Support training and capacity-building initiatives based on performance gaps.
    • Ensure performance processes are fair, transparent, and compliant with HR policies.
    • Collaborate with HR and line managers to align employee objectives with organizational goals.
    • Maintain performance documentation and support succession planning initiatives.
    • Participate in HR projects, including employee engagement and organizational development programs.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional) certification is mandatory.
    • Minimum 3 years of HR experience, with at least 1 year in performance management.
    • Strong knowledge of Kenya Employment and Labor Laws.
    • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office tools.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
