    Human Resource Manager

    Job Specification
    Duties and responsibilities

    • Coordinating the development, review and implementation of strategic human resource management and administration plans, policies and instruments;
    • Advising management on human resource and administration policies, strategies, programs and procedures;
    • Managing and maintaining Human Resourse Information System (HRIS)
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards relating to human resource and administration;
    • Ensuring effective implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the staff performance appraisal system;
    • Ensuring effective verification of payroll data.
    • Coordinating reconciliation of staff compliment and establishment
    • Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of human Resource Policies, Labour laws and statutes that impact on human resource
    • Ensuring effective training, capacity building and evaluation of effectiveness of training to facilitate the achievement of KSLH ‘s mandate.
    • Coordinating staff induction and onboarding programs

    Person Specifications

    • Cumulative service period of fifteen (15) years relevant work experience three (3) of which should have been in a supervisory Management level.
    • Bachelors’ degree in any of the following disciplines: Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Labour Relations or a related field from a recognized institution.
    • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, Business Management or related field from a recognized institution.
    • Membership to the Institute of Human Resource Management or relevant professional body and in good standing
    • Certified Human Resource Professional
    • Leadership course certificate lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution

    Applicants to submit the following clearance certificates.

    • HELB
    • EACC
    • DCI (Good Conduct)
    • Approved Credit Reference Bureau
    • KRA Tax Compliant
