    Human Resource Officer

    Requirements:     

    • BACHELORS DEGREE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, OR RELATED FIELD. HIGHER DIPLOMA IN HR MANAGEMENT (CHRP QUALIFICATION IS AN ADDED ADVANTAGE).
    • SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF KENYA LABOUR LAWS, HR BEST PRACTICES, AND WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATIONS.
    • THE POSITION REQUIRES AVAILABILITY TO WORK CLOSELY WITH PRODUCTION TEAMS AND SUPPORT SHIFTS WHEN NECESSARY. PROFICIENT IN HRIS SYSTEMS AND MS OFFICE SUITE. STRONG INTERPERSONAL, COMMUNICATION, AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS.
    • ABILITY TO HANDLE CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION WITH PROFESSIONALISM AND INTEGRITY. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS CURRENTLY NOT ENGAGED IN EMPLOYMENT, DUE TO THE URGENCY OF THE ROLE.

    Experience:     

    • MINIMUM 3 TO 5 YEARS OF HR EXPERIENCE IN A BUSY COMPANY ENVIRONMENT. THOSE WITH EXPERIENCE IN MANUFACTURING SECTOR WILL HAVE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE.

    Salary:     
    KSHS. 150,000 - 180,000 PLUS COMPANY BENEFITS
    Additional Attributes:     

    • THE HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPPORTING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HR POLICIES, PROCEDURES, AND SYSTEMS TO ENSURE EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF HUMAN CAPITAL WITHIN THE MANUFACTURING PLANT.
    • THE ROLE INVOLVES HANDLING RECRUITMENT, EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT, COMPLIANCE, AND GENERAL HR ADMINISTRATION IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE COMPANYS GOALS AND STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS. HRO WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:-
    • SUPPORT RECRUITMENT AND ONBOARDING PROCESSES FOR FACTORY AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF. MAINTAIN ACCURATE EMPLOYEE RECORDS, CONTRACTS, AND HR DOCUMENTATION. OVERSEE TIMEKEEPING, ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT, AND PAYROLL SUPPORT. HANDLE EMPLOYEE GRIEVANCES AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES IN LINE WITH THE EMPLOYMENT ACT (KENYA). ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH LABOUR LAWS, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY, AND COMPANY POLICIES.
    • COORDINATE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS TO ENHANCE STAFF PRODUCTIVITY. SUPPORT PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT PROCESSES AND APPRAISAL CYCLES. PROMOTE EMPLOYEE WELFARE, ENGAGEMENT, AND MOTIVATION INITIATIVES. 
    • LIAISE WITH GOVERNMENT AGENCIES SUCH AS NSSF, NHIF, AND NITA AMONG OTHERS IN RESPECT TO STATUTORY MANAGEMENT AND PAYMENTS. PREPARE HR REPORTS AND CONTRIBUTE TO HR AUDITS.
