a Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resource Management/Development or equivalent qualification from a university recognized in Kenya;
OR
a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields; Public Administration, Sociology, Business Administration or its equivalent qualification plus Diploma in Human Resource Management from a university recognized in Kenya; and
a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, policy guidelines, best practices and emerging issues in Human Resource Management and Development.
Duties and Responsibilities
preparing briefs on human resource management and development issues emanating from MDAs and the Commission;
drafting general correspondences on human resource management matters;
maintaining and managing records;
preparing board reports/briefs;
participating in formulation of human resource policies, regulations and guidelines for the public service; and
assisting in collection, collation and analysis of human resource management & development data from MDAs and the Commission
