    Human Resources Officers

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • The Human Resources Officers will be responsible for effective administration of Resourcing, Learning and Development, Staff Welfare and other HR/Staff related activities to support the alignment of people strategies with Business needs as well as Career aspirations and progression.

    Person Specifications

    • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences or a related discipline from a reputable university.
    • A Master’s degree in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
    • A professional qualification in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
    • Must be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM)
    • Have at least two (2) years’ relevant post-internship work exposure in a Human Resources environment in a large organisation, preferably in a financial institution or reputable professional services firm.

    General Competencies for all positions:

    • Ability to make independent decisions - always staying objective.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and balance workload to complete multiple assignments within deadlines.
    • Analytical thinking and ability to execute tasks in a structured manner, with accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Professionalism in interaction and execution of responsibilities.
    • Demonstrates integrity and ethical practices while ensuring the organization is not put at reputational risk.
    • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
    • Relationship management and ability to build rapport and create good relationships.
    • Resilience and ability to maintain momentum when faced with operational challenges, while adapting to a changing environment.
