Our client, an ICT Company in Nairobi is looking for an I.T Sales Officer.

Qualifications & skills

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in I.T, Sales or equivalent course.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing with a background in IT sales/industry.
3. Quick learner with customer service experience.
4. Excellent persuasion, communication and Interpersonal skills are essential.
5. Ability to Cold-call customers and make a sale
6. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets within schedule.
7. Proficiency in MS Office suite
8. Should be highly motivated.

Duties and responsibilities

• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets given by country manager.
• Visit potential customers for new business.
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers.
• Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Reaching the customer breath given by country manager.
• Funnel management.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
