This will be the entry and training grade forthis cadre. An officer atthislevelwill work under the guidance of a senior officer.

Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail: -

• Analyzing, designing, coding, testing, implementing computer programs;
• Providing usersupport;
• Maintaining supportsystems and training of users;
• Repairing and maintaining of information communication technology equipment and associated peripherals;
• Receiving, installing and certifying of information communication technology equipment; and
• Configuring of new information communication technology equipment.

Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

•  Three years’ experience atthe grade of ICTOfficerII orin a comparable position;
• Bachelor’s Degree in any ofthe following disciplines: - Computer Science, Information Communication Technology, BusinessInformation Technology or equivalent qualification froma recognized institution; and
• Proficiency in computer applications.
